MANTRA DAO Brings KardiaChain to Our Validator Rewards Program
Our KAI Validator Node is Now Available to Delegate to and Soon Earn OM Rewards!
Following our announcement of becoming a genesis validator for KardiaChain, MANTRA DAO is now actively running its validator node where Sherpas can delegate their KAI tokens to and will soon be able to earn enhanced OM rewards. As the blockchain ecosystem begins to enter into a new year, many projects are increasingly focused on interoperability. We at MANTRA DAO believe that KardiaChain shares many of the same beliefs on interoperability, and one can even say that we have made it our collective mantras!

Staged Rollout
Phase 1 — Initially, users will be able to delegate their KAI tokens to the MANTRA DAO Validator through existing Kardiachain ecosystem wallets and delegation interfaces in order to earn KAI rewards.
Phase 2 — Users will be able to delegate their KAI to the MANTRA DAO Validator through the MANTRA DAO App, as well as existing KardiaChain ecosystem wallets and delegation interfaces in order to earn KAI rewards.
Phase 3 — Users will be able to delegate their KAI to the MANTRA DAO Validator through the MANTRA DAO App, as well as existing KardiaChain ecosystem wallets and delegation interfaces in order to earn both KAI and additional OM rewards!
Essentials to Stake KAI

There is a 7-day unbonding process for staked KAI during which time the delegator’s KAI does not earn rewards and cannot be transferred, exchanged, or spent. KAI can, however, be slashed during the unbonding period.
Delegation is non-custodial and delegates cannot spend your KAI.

MANTRA DAO & KardiaChain Moving Forward
Initially, OM rewards will not be earned by delegating your KAI to the MANTRA DAO validator. However, remember that each and every OM token holder is a direct beneficiary of the assets held by the Foundation. As the assets in the Foundation accumulate, more returns are earned. Those returns will go directly into rewards on our other products like MANTRA POOL and our OM buyback program.
